Our Vision

| To provide food in a way that glorifies God and furthers His will

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God

- 1 Corinthians 10:31 -

The Farmers

Hello!

I’m Eli Hahn. I grew up in the Coast Range of Oregon where my parents settled down on a small homestead. Our goal was to produce foods that paid for themselves and provided for our family. We grew a garden and raised pastured chickens, pigs and a couple dairy cows. This was extremely fulfilling as a young boy, and I started dreaming about someday taking it to the next level, a sustainable business providing food for people's everyday needs while stewarding God’s creation. In 2024 I attended the Polyface Stewardship program at Joel Salatin's farm in Swoope, Virginia. This is where Stella comes into the picture. Both of us attended the same summer program, and ended up staying on as Apprentices for the next year. We decided to pursue a relationship afterwards, and got married in April 2026. Stella grew up on her family’s grass based dairy in Florida, and found a love for growing food and honoring God and His creation. Our time at Polyface boosted our confidence  and gave us the vision for bringing it back home to Oregon. So here it is, Provision Farm. We feel so blessed to be able to fulfill a need and provide food that is satisfying, nutritious and leaves a positive impact on the land. Our hope is that you will taste a little glimpse of Love, Hope, Joy, Peace and Forgiveness in the provisions from our farm.

We're located twenty minutes west of Yamhill, Oregon, nestled into the beautiful Coast Range Mountains. You're always welcome to come visit!

How We Provide

Our farming practices are not the norm. Some would call it "Sustainable", or "Regenerative". Those names have been diluted to mean "better than some". However, those words do describe exactly what we are. Here's the difference. Farms like ours are building the land to make it more productive for the next generation, while producing only what it can handle on the way to full potential. In contrast, factory style big farms are mining the land to produce maximum benefit right now. Yes, the big farm can produce more food quicker and cheaper with less work. But what about the next guy? Not to mention the life of health and nutrition that is traded for less labor so we can sit on the couch. This is a "goose that lays golden eggs" situation; we want it now so we kill for it. What we hope to do here at Provision is jog instead of sprint, build instead of destroy, and produce life giving provisions instead of cheap replacements.
